SURVIVOR STORY - Dan Stoll, Board Member
Prior to his accident, Dan Stoll worked at the Goodrich Corporation in Chula Vista as a Project Manager and an Engineering Specialist. These assignments were in support of manufacturing aircraft components. On a rainy day in February, 2003, Dan was on the entry ramp to route # 163 north from Friars Road when his truck started to spin out of control and rolled over. He ended up at Sharp Hospital with a frontal lobe brain injury. Dan was involved in therapy at Sharp Rehab and attended the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program at Mesa College. Currently, Dan is enjoying retirement. He and his wife JoAnn volunteer for the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation, and Dan serves on the board.
