Dr. McDonough has been in neuropsychology since the 1980’s. He completed postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Trained in both pediatric/adult neuropsychology, he has been Coordinator of one of the largest pediatric brain injury programs in the country, and was later recruited as Clinical Director at the Neurobehavioral Institute of NJ. He presently consults to Scripps and Sharp Hospitals, as well as acute and long-term brain injury programs. Consultations include the Superior Court of California, schools, and Department of Rehabilitation. He holds academic appointments at UCSD and Alliant. Dr. McDonough has been on the Board of Directors of the SDBIF for 5 years and chairs the Prevention Committee. On the Editorial Board for the Medical Disability Advisor, he enjoys publishing and presenting on a range of issues related to brain injury. Office locations are Rady Children’s Hospital and Scripps Hospital. |
