Jim McBride is a management consultant with extensive experience in organizational communication, planning, public relations, marketing support, and business development. Areas of expertise include planning public relations campaigns; media relations; media training; reputation management; internal communication. His work has been published in national journals and cited in two text books. He is a lecturer in the School of Journalism & Media Studies at San Diego State, where he teaches public relations methods and media techniques. Jim formerly served five years on the SDBIF board including three years as secretary. He is the father of a brain injured daughter, who was 18 years old when she sustained a traumatic brain injury in a car accident. She lived for 10 years, fighting and smiling, inspiring her family, and bringing friends and neighbors closer together.
